Its Official – we have now been voted as the Best Chippy in the United Kingdom!
In 2014 we were overwhelmed to be awarded Best Chippy Chips in the South East of England. In 2015 we did even better and won 2 awards. In February after receiving thousands of votes from our amazing customers, we were crowned as being the 2015 UK National Champions. In November 2015 we were awarded Just East Best Takeaway (all categories) – North London!
We are proud to say that we have been serving the best fish and chips in the South East for over 40 years. As a family owned and run business we pride ourselves on our high standards of service and hygiene, outstanding food, customer service and, most importantly, value for money.
The traditional British fish and chip shop is becoming increasingly hard to find and we are pleased to say that, apart from continuing improvements to our standards, little has changed in our shop for over 40 years. Our secret recipes and preparation methods have been kept under lock and key and have served us well for nearly half a century and have made us the busiest fish and chip shop in Essex and Kent.
We have a 40 seat restaurant and a takeaway counter and we serve over 5000 people a week. We also offer catering for outside functions including wedding receptions, sports and social clubs, children’s parties, etc and our menus provide an interesting and affordable alternative to a standard buffet!
